The CoLab is a Creator Stage located in Solaris Plaza that will showcase a robust lineup of programming including creative demonstrations, music, art, athletes, dogs & curated panel discussions. The CoLab brings together some of the best names in the outdoor and creator industries enhancing the Mountain Games experience through engaging in-person entertainment and creative workshops. Mountain Games attendees will have the rare opportunity to interact with and gain in-person insight from a variety of creators, athletes and influencers. Follow along online and at the stage to see these incredible activations come to life.

Abby Wren | Makeup Artist + Digital Creator

Abby Wren

is a professional makeup artist and digital creator based in Los Angeles, California. Trained and certified in Fashion and Beauty Makeup Artistry at John Casablancas Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia, Abby blends her expertise as a professional makeup artist with her growing online community, creating an impactful approach to the beauty industry and content landscape.

Abby was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Alopecia Totalis in 2006, and lost all of her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. She began using makeup to express her femininity and passion for color, and hasn’t looked back since. Her signature bald look has become an endless canvas for creative makeup and unique designs, and her message of diversity and empowerment has inspired countless others in the beauty community and beyond.

After more than a decade of sailing around the world as a private yacht chef, Adam Glick has found his calling as the “Adventure Chef.” His travels and challenges while cooking professionally have primed him for a life of preparing 5-star food in beautiful, remote, and off-grid locations.

Andrew Alexander King | Explorer, Climber, Surfer & Freediver

ANDREW ALEXANDER KING

Andrew Alexander king is an accomplished African American explorer, climber, surfer and freediver. Voted as one of the top 20 Most influential people in the Outdoor Industry, Andrew has set out to be the first African-American to climb the world’s tallest peaks and volcanoes on each continent to speak out against racisms, sexism, climate change and economic barriers.

To date, Andrew has climbed more than 50 different mountains around the world from Kilimanjaro to the highest mountain in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, to the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere, and surfed big waves in Mexico, Europe and Hawaii. He is currently training in Nazare, Portugal – home of the 100-foot waves. Should he accomplish this feat, Andrew is also the first African American to surf Nazare + climb the Himalayas.

bRIAN PETERSKnown for his mastery in both body and mind, Brian Peters is a Performance Breathing Master Coach and Former NFL Linebacker & Captain for the Houston Texans. He has carved a niche in the high performance industry utilizing the power of the breath to provide professional and collegiate athletes as well as US special forces more control over their state in the stressors of their respective arenas.

BRIAN PETERS

Known for his mastery in both body and mind, Brian Peters is a Performance Breathing Master Coach and Former NFL Linebacker & Captain for the Houston Texans. He has carved a niche in the high performance industry utilizing the power of the breath to provide professional and collegiate athletes as well as US special forces more control over their state in the stressors of their respective arenas.  Brian’s coaching focuses on developing physiological and psychological resilience while leveraging the breath to improve physical performance.  His coaching utilizes cold and heat exposure to optimize recovery and utilize the breath and the language of your physiology as an intervention to improve your stress tolerance and get the most out of yourself, and your cold exposure and sauna sessions.

 

Cliff + Brodie that Dood | Dog Personality + Creator

Brodie is a Goldendoodle dog and TikTok star known for appearing in videos of him and his owner Cliff riding bikes, traveling, going on adventures, and hanging out. His brodiethatdood TikTok has over 5 million followers.

Brodie is just a Dood’s Dood. His main goal in life is to have a good time. He doesn’t really put much thought into his actions, he’s just interested in making Cliff and the people around him happy. He is an attention seeker and loves being noticed in public. If he feels the correct amount of attention is not being allotted towards him, he will march around with a bath mat, kitchen towel or sock, to try to get more attention focused his way.

Kai + todd Jones

Kai has been born and raised in the Tetons. He spends his time Skiing, Biking, climbing and ski mountaineering in his backyard. Kai has had a rapid ascent in the ranks of professional skiing.  Kai first won the North American Junior Freeride series when he was 11 years old. He was Nominated for Rider of the Year at IF3 Film Festival at14 years old and then again this year at 15.  Kai has now starred in 5 TGR films. Kai has been featured in the New York Times and on the today show. He is a member of Protect our Winters. For a 16 year old, Kai has an impressive array of Teton descents under his belt including the Grand, Middle, and South Tetons and Mt Moran. When not skiing Kai can be found mountain biking, surfing and skateboarding.

LYNN HILL | ICONIC Mountain Climber

LYNN HILL

Few have accomplished an athletic feat more than a decade before anyone else- man or woman. Lynn changed the definition of what is possible in rock climbing with her first free ascent of the most famous big wall climb in the world called The Nose on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, California. Over nineteen years later, Tommy Caldwell and Lynn are still the only two people in the world to have succeeded in making an all free one-day ascent of The Nose.

Among the world’s best-known climbers, Hill has been a guest at the White House and has been featured on numerous television shows as well in many publications. Lynn has recently joined forces with OOFOS because as an athlete, she is always looking for efficiency. How can she do something just a little better and optimize – her route, her fitness, her life. OOFOS play a pivotal role in this for her as an active recovery tool she uses to rebuild.

Currently living in Boulder, Colorado, Lynn balances her time between climbing, running, skiing, travels to cool places around the world, and raising her son Owen.

Rafa Jaime | Blind Mountaineer

Rafa Jaime was born in Guanajuato on June 24, 1988.

Rafa is a Mexican climber, mountaineer, paralympic triathlete and conference speaker who was able to overcome cancer on several occasions but lost his eye sight completely due to eye cancer at the age of 18.

Omar Alvarez  and Rafa Jaime have a Seven Summit project called Cordada a Obscuras where they intend to climb the 7 highest peaks in the world. So far they have climbed 4 out of 7, being: Denali, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus and Aconagua.

Conventional fishing was the name of the game in Shyanne’s family, and when she discovered fly fishing, the passion consumed her. She dove head first into the sport and it was her own version of fishing then what she had known as a child. The excitement and thrill of pursuing various species on fly was unmatched and it’s what feeds this hunger to travel, and explore. In the midst of a challenging childhood, fishing is what kept Shyanne grounded and in a lot of ways gave her an opportunity to reflect, heal and grow. It was the calm to the chaos.

Now it’s Shyanne’s personal mission to introduce this sport to others through guiding, hosting trips and creating inspiring content. This passion for fly fishing has allowed her to connect with people from around the world and it’s inspired her to create a space and a platform that always remains authentic and inclusive.

Mirna Valerio is a native of Brooklyn, NY, a former educator, cross-country coach, ultrarunner, obstacle course enthusiast, and author of the recently published memoir, A Beautiful Work in Progress. Although she began running in high school, she recommitted to the sport after a health scare in 2008. It was then that her love for running and all its attendant benefits were reignited. She soon started her blog Fatgirlrunning, about her experiences as a larger woman in a world of thinner athletes. Mirna’s athletic story was featured in the WSJ, Runner’s World, on the NBC Nightly News, CNN, on the CW Network, and in the viral REI-produced documentary short, The Mirnavator. Her writing has been featured in Women’s Running Magazine, Self Magazine Online, Outside Online, and Runner’s World Magazine. Most recently, she was chosen as a 2018 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year.

Vail Avalanche Rescue Dogs

Vail avalanche rescue dogs

Vail Avalanche Rescue Dogs is a small program that we fund via t-shirt and other merchandise sales, and the proceeds go towards food, training, and vet bills, were one of the dogs to get hurt. All dog handlers are members of the Vail Ski Patrol.

We currently have 5 dogs in our program: Rocky (12 and retired) and Moxie (1), both golden retrievers, Jake (7) a yellow lab, Fred (3) a black lab, and Pepper (12 weeks), a red lab. Our dogs are highly trained (or training) in avalanche rescue, and in addition, they are always available for pets and pictures at our outposts!

Formally a competitive freestyle skier from Montana, he brings a fearless and infectious energy to his content that his audience has known to love.

Having a strong sporting influence on the pitch Max developed a passion for organizing sporting events. He worked for World Rugby (formerly International Rugby Board) and the 2012 London Olympic Games and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

When he started working for himself his passion for live entertainment developed and he moved into a number of new event industries, namely the music and entertainment industries. Max has toured with Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, Eminem, Prince and the Guns’n’Roses to name but a few. At the start of 2020, Max was the VIP director for Oprah Winfreys tour of the US.

Max has MC’d and hosted events all over the world to 100,000’s of people, from high end travel events in Africa to Red Bull events in Europe.
