Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member Richie Schley is a pioneer of freeride mountain biking and mountain bike slopestyle. Schley is also a professional skier featured in MSP Films and Warren Miller Entertainment movies.
Schley’s career started with the 1993 Canadian BMX title in the pro class. In 2013, he starred in a Red Bull video which featured his thoughts on what it means to be a mountain biker, “If there’s one thing I believe, it’s earning your descent.” The film won the GoPro Dirt Diaries video contest that year.
More than a “godfather” of freeride mountain biking, Schley also rides cross-country, all-mountain, enduro and also road bikes.
The multi-sport professional will be at the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail June 10-13.
