Colorado native Jeshurun Small embraces his first name every time he takes on a trail run. “My mom definitely hypes up the name a lot,” Small said with a laugh ahead of competing in the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail June 10-13.
Small will be competing in the adidas Terrex 10K Spring Runoff on Sunday, June 13, at the Mountain Games as an adidas Terrex sponsored athlete himself.
“This will be my first time at the GoPro Mountain Games. I’m super excited,” he said. “I’ve always wanted to be racing at the 10K out there, it always seems like a great event.”
The race will be the first competitive action for Small in nearly six months.
“It’s definitely going to be a rust buster,” he said.
